Can't believe some of the mistakes I made; gave up on it for several hours since I had another bug problem, an inconvenient number of flies in the house. It had a problem comparing chars, fixed that. It has a problem converting longs to text, I think, which stops it from translating the system file to lambda terms. Wrote a unit test for that, see what's up. (There was no select test which handles "system.long" types as native values in stage one, patched that.)
Edibilities removed, 95% of bugs are dead. Recompiling...
