Compile times are long. Writing a Swig module gave some insight in what I should have done. I should change the FFI extension and replace it with a keyword. -Though the keyword would just introduce syntactic sugar for what I have now, not sure- At the same time, I should make it possible to build dynamic libraries from Hi modules.
It's for later. I am still an annoying serialization bug and unserialization away from a bootstrap. I scanned some files to see if I could gather where the text/AST replacement stems from, clueless. If all fails, I'm forced to try unserialize all intermediate ASTs to catch the bug, or find the bug in the type checker...
