Back to C64's?

A simple transform which maps text in the AST to its identity using a map function, therefor making all references in the heap unique, would get rid of all that double character data too.

I feel like I am back to my C64 where, in order to get at -or change- that extra RAM, one needed to 'peek' all values of a memory region and 'poke' them to their addresses just before disabling the ROM shadowed memory region.
