One Million 'What-If's...

I like to run 'One-Million What-if' scenarios through my head to see if I am still going in the right direction:

  1. What if the sources are 1MLoC?
  2. What if the sources are one function of 1MLoC?
  3. What if the sources contain 1 million definitions?
  4. What if the sources contain 1 million classes?
  5. What if the sources contain 1 class with 1 million instances?
  6. What if the sources contain 1 text constant of 1 million characters?
  7. What if the sources contain 1 identifier of 1 million characters?
  8. What if the sources are in 1 million files?
  9. What if the sources contain a function which calls itself 1 million times?
  10. What if the sources contain 1 constant which holds 1 million other constants?
What if? Most of it is theoretically covered, as long as all transformation are linear on the AST it should be fine, except for typing... It needs to become a plainly stupid algorithm to cover a one million sized definition.
